“Gone to Ground” welcomed with a Full House at Local Screening

We’re delighted to share the success of the recent hometown screening of our feature film, “Gone to Ground,” at the excellent, community-run Cricklade Cinema.

The event was organised to share the film with the local community that formed the backdrop for much of the production. The response was fantastic, with the screening selling out a full three weeks ahead of the showing.

Seeing the film on a full-sized cinema screen for the first time was a great experience, and we were very pleased with the quality of the projection and sound.

After the credits rolled, we held a Q&A session, and the audience’s engagement made for a lively and interesting discussion. It’s always rewarding to connect directly with viewers and hear their take on the story and characters.

Hosting the event in Cricklade, where so much of the film was shot, felt particularly fitting. We were also glad that the screening could support a good local cause, with £400 from the proceeds being donated to the Cricklade Memory Cafe.

A sincere thank you to the team at Cricklade Cinema for being wonderful hosts, and to everyone who came along and made it a memorable night. It’s a great boost as we move forward with plans for the film’s online release.

Stay tuned for more news soon.
