My short psychological thriller Liaison has now been watched more than 37,500 times since it premiered on YouTube on 28 March 2026.
A woman wakes up alone in a strange bed, chained to it. What happened last night?
We shot most of it guerrilla-style in just 24 hours during the Toronto ReelHeART Film Festival, with no lights, no permits and no male lead, until cinematographer Paul Witcombe stepped in front of the camera. Melissa De Mol gives a fearless lead performance.
Written and directed by Phil Peel. Watch Liaison free on YouTube.
